TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The general Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the ‘User’ (hereafter also referred to as ‘You’ or the ‘Customer’) and Carpet House Pty Ltd (hereafter also referred to as ‘We’), ABN Number 49 922 021 247. Both parties accept these Conditions unreservedly. These general Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you have read and do unreservedly accept our general Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to You and Carpet House Pty Ltd as they are used to protect your rights as a valued customer and our rights as a business.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions on the Website Carpet House Pty Ltd reserves the right to update the Website and these Terms and Conditions from time to time, at our discretion and without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking back regularly. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms and Conditions will be taken to mean that you have read and agree to the changes.
Access to the Website
We take great care when putting product information, descriptions and images on-line, but will not be held responsible for any mistakes or omissions to any information given. Please be aware that colours may differ from your computer display. Sizes can vary slightly.
The prices indicated are shown in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST. Delivery costs are not included in the price of the goods. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the goods. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed.
Payment is to be made Online by Credit Card. Buying direct from our Warehouse we accept Eftpos, Credit Card or Direct Deposit to our nominated bank account . We do not accept Diners Club or American Express. Payment in full is to be made prior to despatch of goods.
We offer secure payment and use advanced SSL encryption, Stripe, to keep your transaction secure and does not cost you anything to use. Carpet House is charged as the seller, you are not charged as the buyer, so you will not pay any extra for your order.
We will endeavour to fulfil your order within 14 working days (working days being Monday to Friday) once your order is completed and paid for. If a product should become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will refund the price you paid for the product no later than 14 days following the date of payment.
Your order will be delivered to the address you indicated when your order was placed. The products bought will be delivered to one address only. We do everything in respect to the delivery times indicated on the website. We cannot, however, be held responsible for the consequences of a late delivery or the loss of a package caused by a third-party contracted to make delivery, or by you, or because of some unforeseen event or an Act of God. In the event you do not receive your package, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier and may take several days upon receipt of your claim. During this period of investigation, no reimbursement or re-delivery will take place.
Returns & Refunds
Carpet House Pty Ltd allows 7 working days to return a product that you are not satisfied with. Your right of return starts from the moment your order is delivered to you. You can return the product to us within this time frame, at your own expense, including your details with your returned goods. The goods will be inspected before a refund is issued. A refund will be paid via the payment method of purchase. You pay shipping to our warehouse for return of the goods.
Refunds for change of mind
Generally, a store does not have to give a refund or replacement if a customer simply changes their mind about a product. A ‘change of mind’ can include instances where a customer buys an item but later decides or realises they have selected the wrong colour, size or product.
All the content on our website (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos) is the property of Carpet House Pty Ltd. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorisation by us. We will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through his activities on the site.
Waiver and Severability
The Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Carpet House Pty Ltd and governs your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms and Conditons).
Limitation of Liability
You agree that Carpet House Pty Ltd’s entire liability, and your exclusive remedy, with respect to any good(s) provided under this Agreement and any breach of this Agreement is solely limited to the amount you paid for such good(s).
Carpet House Pty Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect about you will only be used lawfully.
Information is only collected to process your order and provide you with the best possible service. We do not sell, trade or transfer any of your private information.
We will not email you in future unless you have given your consent.
You may refuse any marketing emails from us or from another trader in the future.
